What do crow's feet do?

The eye area is one of the most sensitive parts of the skin. The first signs of the times are therefore visible here very quickly and it is recommended to start taking preventive action against wrinkles at the age of 25. Do you know how eye wrinkles develop?

The skin around the eye area is very thin and sensitive. The natural ageing process of our skin naturally plays an important role. In addition, it is exposed to many environmental influences, such as dry heating air, aggressive sunrays and air pollution.

Mature skin produces less collagen and elastin, which slows down the skin's own processes and makes the skin lose its elasticity. Small wrinkles appear around the eyes.

Other factors are the application of eye make-up and the removal of make-up by rubbing firmly, which accelerate the ageing process.

I would like to give you a few tips on how you can maintain a radiant eye area despite the natural ageing processes and external influences to which we are exposed every day:

Cleaning
For thorough removal of eye make-up, use LAVANTICUM Nourishing Cream & Mask. Simply apply with your hands or on a damp cotton wool pad and massage in with light circular movements. Rinse off with lukewarm water. The cleansing cream with sea fennel and buckwheat extract also removes waterproof make-up.

Face Tonic
For soothe swollen or tired eyes, you can place a cotton wool pad soaked
with TONICUM Pore Toning Mist on both eyes for a short time. The face tonic enriched with ginger extract firms and improves the elasticity of the eye area.

Eye balm or cream
Eye care products with hydrating and anti-ageing ingredients can reduce the depth of wrinkles and delay the appearance of new expression lines. I recommend the OCULISSIMUM Firming Eye Balm made with Golden Algae Extract, which you can also apply to the glabella wrinkle (frown line). Spread a small amount of the eye balm on the inner corners of the eye, in the middle and on the outer corners of the eye. Apply once on the lower eyelid, from the inside outwards, then under the eyebrow and finally over the eyebrows
(hair growth direction of the eyebrows). Gently pat the rest in. This will intensify the care and stimulate the microcirculation. In this way, the skin is optimally nourished.

Our eye products contain no penetrating oils (spreading oil substances) and can therefore be applied up to the lash line at the top and bottom - nothing can get into the eye. However, penetrating oils could lead to irritation of the mucous membrane of the eye.

Wellness in winter
Use moisturising but also nourishing eye creams in the cold winter months, as these are particularly effective in caring for the eye area, such as CURA OCULI Nourishing Eye Cream & Mask. The nourishing and regenerating cream with sea buckthorn fruit and rose hip seed oil can also be used as a mask.

Application Mask:
After cleansing, apply a thicker layer to the eye area - leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and place, for example, soaked cotton pads with TONICUM Pore Toning Mist on the eyes.

Extra tip for freshness:
Store your eye care products in the refrigerator. The cooled care products also help perfectly with swollen eyes.
